Samira Vishria is the Director of Professional Development at Hillsides, a non-profit mental health agency. Samira has been practicing as a clinical therapist since 2004 and has been licensed as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker since 2008. She spent 9 years working as a therapist in the Hillsides Residential program, working with children ages 5-17 years. Samira currently works as the Director of Professional Development oversees training for the agency with a team of 6 staff. The team manages compliance training, training for agency initiatives and enhancement training. Samira has experience in training on Trauma Informed Care and is trained as a trainer for the Risking Connection model – a TIC approach to working with youth and families who have experienced trauma.
