Sarah Galvan, Executive Director of Boys Town New England, has been with Boys Town for over 16 years, having started her career in a direct care position. She eventually transitioned into a Family Home Program Director position, and later expanded her reach within Boys Town by overseeing quality assurance and program quality before serving as the Executive Director of both the affiliate Washington DC location, and currently the Boys Town New England location. She strategically has built the Board of Directors, enhanced fundraising success, focused on improving quality programs and executing the strategic plan. Sarah attributes her success to having a comprehensive understanding of the Boys Town Model of Care which has been the guiding foundation in all her decisions as a leader. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado in Psychology and a master’s degree in Youth and Family Services. Sarah is married, and she and her husband Fernando reside in North Kingstown, Rhode Island with their three beautiful girls.
