Dr. Boel-Studt, PhD, MSW is an Associate Professor in the College of Social Work at the Florida State University and a faculty affiliate of the Florida Institute for Child Welfare. Dr. Boel-Studt has 18 years of experience in practice, training/technical assistance, research, and evaluation in child welfare. She has expertise in intervention research, measurement, and statistics. Her research focuses on improving the quality and effectiveness of services for trauma-affected youth served in residential care settings. She is serving as the principal investigator for the Quality Standards Assessment (QSA) funded by the Florida Department of Children and Families and the Florida Institute for Child Welfare and co-leading QSA implementation efforts and consulting beyond Florida.
