Susan Jones is a NYS Certified Educator in Early Childhood – Grade 6; Students with Disabilities Birth- Grade 6, and Adjunct Lecturer with Binghamton University. She received her Master of Science in Education at Binghamton University in 2010 and a Bachelor of Arts in Behavioral Science and Sociology from the State University of NY College of Technology (1988). Sue is currently working at Broome-Tioga BOCES, Binghamton, NY in the role of a Trauma-Informed Practices Coach, providing professional development opportunities, guidance and support in implementing trauma informed practices for administrators & educators across BOCES. As an educator, Sue brings with her over 13 years’ experience as a case manager for persons with disabilities across a variety of social service organizations, including Social Services, the Binghamton Psychiatric Center and United Health Services Hospital. As an educator, she has worked with classified emotionally disturbed children and their families in alternative learning settings.
