Tracey Williams is a PhD student & Research Assistant at Manchester Metropolitan University, and a trainee therapeutic counsellor. Her PhD research investigates a trauma-informed programme of residential care for looked-after children in the UK. She is also the group co-ordinator for the university’s Children in Care Research Group (CCRG), which brings together news, best practice and research around caring for looked after children.
