Survey Questions and Results
The BBI Leaders of Color (LoC) Project aims to highlight those challenges identified through research as being experienced by leaders who are Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) working in White-led organizations, contrasted with the experiences of their White counterparts. These survey questions and their results have informed the research and development of the forthcoming BBI LoC concept paper about BIPOC leaders’ successful experiences navigating their careers within predominantly White organization(s).
- BIPOC Leader Survey Questions –The survey titled, Successful Strategies Implemented by Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) Who Are Leaders and Aspiring Leaders: Navigating the Challenges Associated within a Predominantly White Organization (Rao et al., 2023) was created with questions focusing on the experience of BIPOC leaders and aspiring leaders in white-led organizations. This survey is referred to as the BIPOC Leader Survey for brevity and can be viewed in its entirety for reference.
- BIPOC Leader Survey Results –The aggregated closed-text responses for the BIPOC Leader Survey can be seen here. Due to challenges with ensuring anonymity, the raw text from the open text responses are not shown in these results. However, the analysis and overarching themes found in the open text responses from the BIPOC Leader Survey can be found in the concept paper.
- White Leader Survey Questions –The survey titled, Supporting Black, Indigenous, and People of Color Who Are Leaders and Aspiring Leaders in Predominantly White Organizations (Rao et al., 2023), was focused on the experience of White leaders in white-led organizations. This survey is referred to as the White Leader Survey for brevity.
- White Leader Survey Results –The aggregated closed-text responses for the White Leader Survey can be seen here.
